Recently, we shared an article about how Facebook has been significantly decreasing the “organic reach” of Pages over the last few months.

A recent study has found that companies' Facebook posts reached only 6% of their followers in February, down from 12% in October.

What exactly does this mean?

Basically, it means that even if someone ‘likes’ a company on Facebook, that person is now much less likely than before to see that company’s content in their News Feed.

The solution, according to Facebook, is simple. If you want people to see your content, you have to buy ad space.

However, like we said in our prevous post on this topic, Facebook is still a very valuable asset to your business, even if you never buy ad space. It’s a point of reference people can use to interact with your business.

If you’re still writing great Facebook posts, and keeping your content fresh, your customers will seek you out – and they may be compelled to click through to your website.
